What we make

Apex Skills is a collection of free browser-based games for typing, number entry, reaction, memory, visual attention, reading, and related skills. Each activity has a clear task, a short set of instructions, and a result you can use to compare repeat attempts under similar conditions.

How practice records work

The site does not require an account. When a game saves a personal best or recent run, that record is kept in your browser's local storage on that device. Clearing site data or using another browser removes or separates those records. Read our Privacy Policy for the details, including advertising technology used on the site.

What scores can and cannot say

A game score is a record of one activity in one browser session. It can change with the prompt, keyboard or pointer, display, browser timing, network and device conditions, and ordinary day-to-day variation. We do not present scores as population rankings because we do not maintain a representative dataset that matches these formats.

The games are for personal practice and entertainment. They are not clinical, diagnostic, educational-placement, or employment assessments. Our methodology describes each score type and its limits.
